The Paddle shifter mounted in the steering column adds a serious performance dose on each drive. In manual mode, they let you shift without having to take your hand from the steering wheel, and an automatic mode, they let you replace the current tooth quickly or Downshift, holding that tooth for a few seconds before returning to Automatic mode. For 2021, the overall Pioneer 1000 lineup offers this feature.
