Advanced frame: The YFZ450R is motocross ready. The frame without weldless is designed from lightweight aluminum, with a steel bottom frame that allows a lower seated machine for excellent mass centralization. The suspension components and settings reduce body weight while providing a lightweight, sharp handling and comfort rider.

Aggressive Bodywork: Bodywork designed for the ergonomics and comfort of a great rider, with more room to hang in the corner, and a layered seat shape in the right place to increase lap time. Body panels come easily without tools for the service; No need to remove the battery or other components to take Fender off.

Further cylinder head: 449cc Machine utilizes a five-valve Titanium cylinder head technology designed to provide abundant power in Mid-range to top end, with more “hits ” feeling directly from idle. Higher compression ratios further enhance overall engine performance.

Fuel Injection: YFZ450R combines Yamaha Fuel Injection for proper fuel delivery. With a large 42 mm Mikuni® Throttle Body and a 12-hole injector, this system provides exceptional atomization of the fuel for maximum power. Clutch relief and Slipper: Clutch assist and Slipper reduces clutch lever effort for less fatigue while increasing clutch plate pressure for positive engagement. This clutch system also reduces the engine braking effect, which allows faster cornering, especially when downshifting.

Wide Track and Maxxis® tire: The wheel is set to Motorcross-spec width, near the maximum allowable 50 inches, for large cornering speeds. Ban Maxxis® helps provide excellent handling and control. At 20 inches at the back and 21 inches on the front, they provide better ground clearance than the competition.

Adjustable handles: large diameter, tapered handlebars reduce vibration and are mounted on 4-way clamps for exceptional adjustability. Two sets of holes in the handlebar crown and eccentric clamps allow the rider to select the standard setting, 10mm or 20mm forward, or 10mm back.

Wide Footpegs: The generous stake feet are 2.6 inches wide, something riders will appreciate every time they want to wake up in the peg.

Suspension Long A-ARM: The front frame is as narrow as possible at the A-arm mounting point. This increases the length of the arm A and reduces Camber’s change as a suspension of travel through various movements.

High-performance shocks; The KYB Shock® ahead for an extended stroke with outstanding lump absorption and excellent anti-bottoming characteristics, and they have Kashima™ coating for smooth operation. 9.8 inches of travel wheels means this racer even up to the most challenging tracks.

Rear suspension swingarm: Rear Swingarm is made from strong, gravity-fed aluminum, and is suitable for fully adjustable 46mm KYB® support shock for excellent handling. The rear-wheel-drive is 11.0 inches for convenience even in tough terrain.

Lightweight throttle action: the throttle lever requires low effort to reduce fatigue during long motos.

Compact LED indicators: discrete panels on Fender in front of riders provide an important indicator of low fuel, coolant temperature, check engine, and neutral gear via LED screens.
