2024 Yamaha FZ450R SE: Advanced ATV Sport with Many Features

2024 Yamaha FZ450R SE

The Yamaha YFZ450R SE is the most advanced Sport ATV on the market. It combines high-tech, fast revs, titanium valves, 449cc fuel injection engine with a lightweight professional-caliber aluminum/cast steel chassis.

The combination of power and chassis made the championship-winning engine many times.

The YFZ450R SE is motocross ready. The weldless frame is designed from lightweight aluminum with a tension-steel underframe that allows the machine to sit lower for excellent mass centering.

Components and suspension settings reduce weight while providing light, sharp handling, and rider comfort.

With more room to hang in the corner, the bodywork is designed for exceptional ergonomics and rider comfort.

The seat’s shape is padded in the right place, while the body panel is easily removed without service, so there is no need to remove the battery or other components to remove the fenders.

The 449cc engine uses titanium five-valve cylinder head technology to produce abundant power in the mid-to-high-end classes with a more “bumpy” feeling at idle. A higher compression ratio further improves the overall performance of the engine.

The Yamaha YFZ450R SE incorporates Yamaha Fuel Injection (YFI) for precise fuel delivery.

The system provides outstanding fuel atomization for optimum power with a substantial Mikuni® throttle body measuring 42 millimeters in diameter and a 12-hole injector.

In addition, the system contains ISC (Idle Speed Control) for simple and dependable ignition and heating.

The assist-and-slipper clutch reduces the power of the clutch lever to reduce fatigue while increasing the pressure of the clutch plate for a positive startup.

This clutch system also reduces the engine’s braking effect for faster cornering, especially when downshifting.

The aggressive styling gives the YFZ450R SE a spirit-tailored look with additions like the GYTR® front grip bar to match its unique graphics package.

The YFZ450R SE incorporates Yamaha Fuel Injection (YFI) for precise fuel delivery.

With a large 42 mm Mikuni® throttle body and a 12-hole injector, the system does a great job of atomizing the fuel to get the most power out.

The system also has ISC, which stands for “Idle Speed Control.” This makes starting and heating the engine easy and reliable.

Assist-and-Slipper reduces clutch lever power to reduce fatigue while increasing clutch plate pressure for a positive startup.

This clutch system also reduces the engine’s braking effect for faster cornering, especially when downshifting.

The crankcase has a crankshaft ready to handle the increasing demands of drivers, as well as a counterweight to reduce vibration.

The crankcase also houses an oil tank that helps concentrate mass for unparalleled handling while making maintenance easier.

Chassis and Suspension

The body configuration allows more space for the rider to move during the moto. The front seats are narrow but comprehensive and soft in the back to reduce fatigue.

Wheel It has been designed with the inner lip rolled inward to increase sturdiness, allowing weight reduction while maintaining strength.

The wheels are set wide to motocross specifications, approaching the maximum allowable limit of 50 inches for exceptional cornering speeds.

Maxxis® tires provide excellent handling and control. At 20 inches in the back and 21 inches in the front, they provide better ground clearance than the competition.

The large-diameter tapered handlebar reduces vibration and is mounted on four-way clamps for outstanding adjustment.

Two sets of holes in the crown of the handlebar and eccentric clamps allow the rider to choose a standard suit: forward 10 mm, forward 20 mm, or reverse 10 mm.

The aluminum frame is bolted together, not welded, for maximum durability.

The front frame is made as narrow as possible at the mounting point of arms A. This increases the length of the A-arm and reduces camber changes as the suspension moves through its full range of motion.
