2022 Honda Fourtrax Recon ES Engine, Specs, Price – Recon FourTrax from Honda is one of the most difficult ATVs that work out there. It features a specially designed 250-class engine that delivers a lot of low rpm torque and power.
And it’s available in two versions: one that showcases our conventional foot-shifting ATV transmission, or the Recon ES model offers a Honda Electric Shift Program (ESP). SEMI-DRY-SUMP MACHINE DESIGN
Compact and lightweight – heavy, Recon semi-dry-sump and overhead valve design make machines that are not only shorter than top to bottom but one that improves handling by lowering the center of gravity while also allowing for better ground clearance.
LONGITUDINAL LAYOUT OF THE MACHINE
With the front crankshaft orientated to return in the chassis on the ATV and side-by-side machining, we route the power flow directly to the wheels without needing the right angle of the detour, reduce the friction of the powertrain and put more snorting into the ground.
ELECTRICAL SHIFTING PROGRAM (ESP)
Shifting between gears should always be this easy. With a unique ESP system available Honda (ES models only), upshifting and downshifting are as simple and fast as pushing one of the two buttons mounted on the handlebars. ESP is also a bonus when riding in weight or mud/snowshoes covered.
